Company Background
Q-MAC
Electronics Pty Ltd, a Western Australian based company, was
established in 1994 in order to design, develop and bring to market a
range of quality niche-market communications products. The company
operates from a sound financial base and is committed to steady
continuous growth through a focus on its key competencies in product
innovation and marketing.
Current Products
The first product to have
been released by Q-MAC is the HF-90 Compact Transceiver - undisputed as
the world’s most compact high-performance HF/SSB transceiver. Q-MAC
offers the HF-90 in a variety of configurations suited to civilian and
military applications. A full complement of accessories is also offered
for use with the HF-90; including antennas, power accessories, carry
packs/cases and more. All Q-MAC products are backed by the company’s
strong commitment to after sales service, support and quality standards.

Personnel
Q-MAC’s management
team operates from an office premises located within the Herdsman
Industrial Park in Perth, Western Australia. The Company has also
established a UK based subsidiary - Q-MAC Electronics (UK) Limited. The
UK office primarily services markets in Western Europe, Africa and
Middle East.
The personnel which
make up the management team are responsible for all design and
management aspects of the company. All staff at Q-MAC are hand picked
for their practical experience, achievement and relevant qualifications.
The experience of the
Directors is impressive and spans several decades. Jointly, the
Directors of Q-MAC have gained valuable design and work experience with
companies such as Racal Tacticom (UK), Kodak (UK), Poseidon Scientific
(Australia) and Barrett Communications (Australia). The Directors also
hold qualifications and associations in their respective fields of
expertise.
Q-MAC’s
manufacturing requirements are satisfied by approved Australian based
production contractors. These contractors are selected on the basis of
their stringent quality control procedures and price competitiveness.
Combined with our ISO 9001Quality Management System for product
finishing and testing this in turn provides our customers with superior
product reliability and value for money.

distributes and services its products via a dedicated network of
international dealers and agents. The company recognises the vital role
which its dealers and agents serve and therefore places strong emphasis
on a co-operative working relationship with its dealers/agents, based
on mutual trust and support. All dealers are selected based on their
ability to provide local support and reputation for longstanding
customer service. It is through this approach that Q-MAC is able to
enjoy healthy, consistent sales of its products.
