Ionospheric Prediction Service – 

This website allows customers to calculate appropriate frequencies to use over a given circuit, for a particular time of day. This is the same website which Q-MAC consults if we need to recommend a selection of frequencies for an HF radio network proposal.

Near Real Time - Critical NVIS Frequency Map

Another Great Site

This map can be used to determine the frequencies that will always be returned to the Earth. The purpose of this map is to help illustrate regions of the ionosphere that are weak and strong.

Near Vertical Incidence Skywave (NVIS) Propagation – 

This website is quite useful in explaining the characteristics of this unique form of HF radio propagation.

Jane’s Military Communications Catalogue – 

This catalogue provides information on all types of tactical communications products around the world. Note that Q-MAC Electronics has its own listing (for the HF-90 Transceiver) on the Online Version of the Catalogue.

Journal of Electronic – 

This journal is another useful reference re military communications products.
